RJS Giro Whip

The RJS Giro Whip system is one of the most efficient methods of silo cleaning and blockage clearance available.

Suspended inside the silo, but operated remotely from a gantry mounted above, the Giro Whip efficiently clears build-up using an air-driven rotary cutter, with 360 degree rotation and an operating depth of up to 200ft.

A range of cutters are used depending on the type of material to be cleaned, from soft brushes to chains with hardened steel cutters.

Cleared material simply falls to the base of the silo for easy extraction, by either the normal means or vacuum from our DISAB Tanker.

The system is even effective when the silo is blocked solid, as a pilot hole can be bored from underneath to allow material extraction.
