Industrial Vacuum Services
At RJS we believe in providing the best service to our customers and in doing so back in 2007 we introduced our first Industrial Vacuum machine into the business, the vacuum machine is a hugely versatile ‘high-flow’ DISAB vacuum system mounted on a truck chassis, it is specifically designed to evacuate virtually any kind of dry or wet material from any tough industrial situation. The Vacuum truck is the workhorse and backbone of our business. It adds considerable power and strength to our operation and supports the services we offer under some of the most challenging demands and activities which our customers have come to expect from RJS Silo Clean.
Our newest Vacuum Truck (most commonly known by its own brand name DISAB) was introduced to the business in February 2013 to replace the original truck, it is adept at tackling industrial cleaning, accident clean-ups and general site cleansing, as part of plant maintenance and environmental compliance programs.
From the DISAB extendable full flex Hoseboom mounted on top of the truck is a powerful 8 inch vacuum hose connection, designed to assist us with removing a wide range of materials quickly and safely — wet or dry — whether we are dealing with slurries, sediments, filter cakes, powders, aggregates, ash, granular materials or liquids from above ground up in buildings or silos or from below ground level where access can be difficult for other machines.
The materials are stored in a 15m3 tank and once the tank is full then we have the option of not only tipping into your materials intake but we can also blow back material into silos or other vessels.
The other option is we can use the truck with a bagging hopper to allow transport off site of any materials which may be classed as waste; this has been useful in many situations where the customer could not recycle or use the materials onsite due to contamination. We can offer waste disposal solutions if required.
The DISAB’s uniquely designed telescopic boom with its extension pipes reduce manual handling of heavy hoses for high level work to a minimum. The system also benefits from a low noise level (75 dBA at 7 meters distance) and a unique filter solution, reducing dust emission to only 1,3 mg/m. Over many years we have built considerable experience in plant shutdown procedures and protocols – particularly within industries where a high level of site cleansing is key to achieving high level environmental targets.
From our Suffolk location, we are well situated to cover the UK and Ireland. RJS are capable of reacting at short notice to emergency situations, providing the equipment on a project, or day rate to your specific requirements with an operator or a bespoke team experienced in the tasks your situation requires.
